We did Woodford Reserve when we were there for the baseball series. I really enjoyed it.

We are driving up to AR, staying in Hot Springs with my mom for the weekend, and then we are picking up my best friend and his wife in Conway on Monday and driving to Nashville for a night.  From Tuesday to Saturday will be visiting Heaven Hill, Lux Row, Buffalo Trace, Woodford Reserve, Castle and Key, Old Forester, Peerless, Makers Mark, Wilderness Trail, Whiskey Thief, and Wild Turkey. Along with meals at Talbot, Stave, Brown Hotel bar and Grill, and Bar at Willet.  My fiend has put together the itenary and made all the reservations.  Drive back to Conway on Sunday, and will head home to LC on Monday.

Most excited about the Peerless tour as they make my favorite bottle of whiskey, but its not a regular release.  Hoping to grab a couple bottles to replenish my stash.

He also has several liquor stores on the agenda, which is why we wanted to drive.  Will likely be bringing at least a dozen bottles home.

Well, thankfully Francine was a non-event for us.  Overcast all day, but not a drop of rain.  My partner has family in Houma, they got hammered pretty good.

Not sure why he didn't book Four Roses, but he did all the leg work for this trip so I won't complain.

This tropical weather is going to make for a wet first day of the Bourbonfest in Bardstown but I'm here.

Maker's is dropping 2024 Cellar Age at the fest and distillery all three days of the fest weekend. 4R is dropping the LE at both locations early tommorrow morning.  Beam is supposedly having Little Book Infinity and Bookers The Reserves at the Fest.

That Booker's will be incredible. Booker's Rye is one of the 2-3 best whiskeys I've ever had. I used to leave bottles like that on the shelf lol.

We were there 2 years ago. Willett was the best tour. All the other tastings were sips. Willett was pouring shots. I thought I was gonna have to Uber outta there.

BleedinRed

Castle and Key has been my favorite so far.  Buffalo Trace is my least favorite.  We had lunch at Willet.  Not impressed.  Didn't do the tour.

Some of my haul. With my wife in tow, we hit Makers and 4R for two Cellar Age and 2 LEs. Got another Cellar Age at the fest for three. I got some feat pick single barrels I deemed worthy from Green River, Old Fo and Knob Creek.

Where are we?  The Food & Drink Board?
