One of my sons in law is on Tenn. Task Force 1 and has been deployed to east Tenn for several days now. Yesterday, he got to order 4 Blackhawk helicopters. Thought that was pretty cool.

It will be interesting to see how quickly this is cleaned up. If they are doing the right thing, this won't be a priority at all.

They won't need any help from any "public" entity.  Their own staff, plus the rolodex of the membership gives them access to anyone they need.  Money is not an object.

Per sam.gov it doesn't look like anything more than a couple of IDIQ planning contracts have been awarded today.

They are going to have to get some of those secondary roads opened up enough to make them passable right away.  Some of those places are completely cut off.
