DRYANKNPULL

Quote from: jdcatty on Jan 05, 2024, 01:35 PMHad maybe an inch of wet snow in Hot Springs this morning.  Mostly gone now.

Not letting me upload the picture.

We had about that much in rural Saline county. Currently roads are clear and it is raining. Pretty shitty day. I'd take snow over this.

It was piled higher and deeper in NWA.  Wreck at the Bobby Hopper Tunnel had I-49 shut down for 2 hours.  I was stuck at the southern entrance to the tunnel heading north.  It was glorious.

You're back. I know you are busting at the gut to tell everyone you are going to be on TV tonight talking about your near death experience being trapped in that traffic. So go ahead and get it over with.  >:D
Well, shit...

BASS

Springdale got about 2-3 inches between early morning hours and 9:00 and then it stopped. It was all melted by 1:00. A little slushy driving to work. The ground is warm from yesterday, but it fell too fast too melt.

I was hoping the camera would catch some guy shitting back in the woods.

First time I drove across Wyoming in late winter I barely avoided getting stopped in an interstate closure. No idea how people manage those situations when the urge strikes.

For $7 mil I'll put a webcam in front of my shitter so I can answer fan questions while I drop the Longhorns off in College Station.

A few spring breaks back we were doing the south Utah parks and got stuck on 40 when they closed it west of Flagstaff.

Luckily we had rented an SUV and had stopped at Costco in Vegas for food and water. I spent the night keeping the car warm without running the tank dry and pissing off the side of the interstate with all the truckers. The ladies had to make use of a big gulp cup and the back seat while everyone else vacated. Someone, who's name shall not be mentioned, hopped the fence and dropped a deuce at the closest suitable clump of trees.

I've had to wait outside Denver at a closure till they reopened 70 East because it was a solid sheet of ice. Even once opened trucks and cars and semis all crashed up and down and we could only go 10mph for miles and miles. I'll never drive home for Xmas again in winter months
Yep. I'm not trying to be a dick about it. It could have lived. It didn't. Not by my choice. -Elvis

Coming back to Fayetteville for Spring Break 1994 we got the last available motel room in Moriarty, NM when they closed I-40 due to snow.

Blizzard warnings out in the plains today. Imagine 70 is closed. This weekend temps will get down here in single digits. Fuck that I'm heading to arkansas

There's thousands of illegals sitting around thinking "that John Denver's full of shit, man."
The same people demanding everyone embrace your beliefs, have zero tolerance and condemn another for embracing theirs.  Oh, the irony.

oh they moved all the migrants to shelters last week just in time for the big cold snap. They also put up fencing so they can't come back and put tents up in the same alley and around the shitty motel
