Ector is HBP. 1 on.

Bayne (thier leading RBI guy) is HBP. Runners at first and second, 1 out.

PH for Martin. Rivera. Grounds out to first.

HOGS WIN 11-10!

We don't do anything easy. When have we come back against that big of a deficit? 8 runs is huge.

BleedinRed

Huge win to come back like that.  That is what you expect out of a top 5 program.

Especially against a WHP.  Glad to see Dave recognize that early on.

I was pleasantly shocked to see K Aloy in instead of Diggs against a RHP.

Well, he has been a lot better hitter than Diggs so far. But I agree. Diggs was put in late in the game but didn't get an AB.

That's what I think will make this team better than the last couple.  We have options on the bench in case someone underperforms.

I can take PBP today if no one else wants it.

Surprised Souza is starting. Peppi at first and Kozeal at second seemed very servicable yesterday.

Agreed.  I suspect that's going to be a platoon until one of them steps up.

If they bring in a lefty to face Souza in a key situation I bet we see Peppi again.

Glad they seem committed to keeping Kozeal in the lineup.  Really like what I've seen from him so far.

Glad we are starting a lefty. They seemed to have trouble with lefties yesterday. They had no trouble with RHP throwing fast balls.

Today's beer of choice is Flyway Bluewing, brewed in the garden spot that is North Little Rock, Arkansas.  I highly recommend it.  May have to transfer temporarily to Ozark Brewing Cream Stout if the Bluewings I just put in the fridge don't cool down quickly enough.

Top 1st.

Riley lines out softly to Wehiwa at SS.  1 out.

Bryce (never trust a guy with two last names) doubles to Rf.  Runner on 2nd, 1 out.

Poteet grounds to Root who throws to 3rd.  Runner on 1st, 2 outs.

Gunderson doubles off the RF wall on a ball it looked like Diggs should have caught.  Poteet scores.  1-0 69ers.  Runner on 2nd, 2 outs.

Furcht doubles down the LF line.  Run scores.  2-0 them.  Runner on 2nd, 2 outs.

(EDITOR'S NOTE:  Apologies for the delay.  Had to fix the bride's streaming device.)

Ector strikes out looking.   3 outs.

Mid 1st.  69ers 2.

In case anyone was wondering, the basketball team lost to South Carolina 72-53.  All things considered, a pretty solid performance for Mike Neighbors' Ladybacks against a perennial powerhouse.

Bottom 1st.

Davalan flies out weakly to CF.  1 out.

W. Aloy grounds out to 3B.  2 outs.

Maxwell flies out to the wall in LF.  3 outs.

End 1st.  CLT 2 XNA 0.

Top 2nd.

Bayne flies out to Diggs. 1 out.

Maryniak grounds out to Aloy.  2 outs.

Sutryk strikes out swinging.  3 outs.

(EDITOR'S NOTE:  Apologies for the delay.  I had to piss AND get another beer.)

Mid 2nd.  2-0 them.

Bottom 2nd.

Iredale singles to LF.  Runner on 1st. 0 out.

Diggs strikes out looking swinging walks lines a solid single to RF.  Iredale to 3rd.  Runner at corners, 0 out.

K. Aloy continues his vendetta against the Baum-Walker wall with a double to LF.  Iredale scores.  Throw behind him gets Diggs at 3rd. 2-1 69ers.  Runner on 2nd, 1 out.

Kozeal grounds to 1st.  Aloy to 3rd.  Runner on 3rd, 2 outs.

Souza strikes out swinging looking grounds out to 2nd off the pitcher.  Play under review.  Call confirmed.  3 outs.

End 2nd.  Almost in South Carolina 2 Almost in Indian Territory 1.

Dumb shit running by Diggs. Couldn't tell if the third base coach waved him or he rounded it on his own,

I think that's on Wernes.  Also a heads up play by LF.

Yeah, they really didn't show the play at third. The replay just showed Diggs way down the line and trying to get back, but was out by a mile.
