Little John the 2nd got a sponsor exemption into the Puerto Rico Open, his first PGA tournament. He has 9 holes left and he's in contention, 3 shots off the lead.

7 players within one stroke at the PGA championship. Scores all over the place today. Some no-names making lots of birdies to move into the top tier. Some big names struggling to make par.

Tomorrow could be crazy.

Disclaimer: I can 2 putt from 3 feet way more than you should.

So a 30 footer for me is always "just get it close, don't hit it too hard."

But I sank a 30 footer with about 10 feet of break to the left. I think that counts.

Had an 88 yard second shot. Which he got within 2 feet, then he missed the birdie putt.

He bounced back pretty well from that 8, with a birdie the next hole. He was in danger of missing the cut, but now I think he will make it easily.

Scheffler is one over.  Can't get anything going so far.
