Again...I mean that shit's cool and all but why are non-Razorback players doing this?

vegashog

if nike is doing it, there's money involved.

Market research must have found our fanbase buys a lot of shoes.

maybe there's some high roller sneakerheads that are hog fans.

looking around, a game worn pair of shoes from someone like kd can fetch up to $20k+. since these are one offs that more than likely won't be sold to the public, they may be end up being worth a lot of money.

Interestingly, I'm not a sneaker head and think the whole game is dumb.

HOWEVER COMMA, I just happened to be in the market for a set of kicks.

I'm gonna guess I have the most sneakers on the board. Most are basketball shoes I've kept over the years, and still buy from time to time. Also have a few I've bought/kept over the years for nostalgia reasons. Most notably a few pairs of Jordan 4s. That was the shoe I wore my last year of HS ball.  Plan to hand those down to the grandkids.

Give us a self brag. I know you played and play and really enjoy the game. Share some of the deets and highlights on that senior year.

More what ifs than highlights. Only played (at Mills) my 10th grade year due to a bad coach (and immaturity). Legendary coach Robinson retired the year before I got there and Coach Olberts came the year after me. We had a guy that was just awful on and off the court. He ended up going to prison for fraud I think.

I was the only 10th grader that played. Highlights were a mere 12 pts and one of the best passes I ever made against Pine Bluff against Shabazz and Ken Bilwy. My last shot in HS was a rimmed out 3 against our rival McClellan. So yeah, not much to brag about.

Most of my highlights were playing leagues around LR, Memphis, and down in south FL. Best season I had was in FL were I averaged 27 a game. Scored 41 one game on 13 3s and a layup  ;D  Hit 12 3s in a tourney in Memphis against some college players.

Not sure if anyone knew Brad Johnson in LR. He played D2 at Southwest Baptist. Really good player. I played at a church with him when I was 19/20. He reached out to their coach about getting me to come up there but it was late summer and I would've had to walk on my first year. Wasn't very appealing at the time.

Everyone has regrets. Mine was not sticking it out playing ball. I could tell the same story with baseball minus the bad coach part.

Couple of good classes during that time. Walter Camper for McClellan was a baller too. I saw Shabazz dunk from a foot inside the free throw line when the only other people I had seen do that was Dr J and MJ.

Barton Fink

Shabazz could've played P4 basketball. He was just as freakish on the court as he was in football and baseball.

One of the best players in LR was a guy at Fair named Broderick Brewer. A couple years before me but he was a "what could've been" type player.

I played with Dion Cross at Fuller who was a helluva shooter. Him and Clint Thomas went to Parkview instead of Mills. I wanted to follow suit but my parents weren't gonna let me drive from Landmark to Parkview.

This is the shoe I wore my last year of HS ball. These things got pretty funky. You cannot view this attachment.

i'm old. i remember if you played ball at any level, you wore chucks.

Barton Fink

It's down right amazing that guys hooped in Chuck's. Imagine wearing those with the way guys jump and cut today.

I just flashed on the smell from our 1940s era high school gyms dressing room.
