I know that but a 4 is "protected" and is supposed to get a favorable location i.e. OKC. Also, The 13 seeds typically aren't nearly as good as the 12s.

Regardless, you're correct about the 1. At this point I think we're hoping to be in the AZ bracket because they struggle shooting. They're huge though. Anyone but FL. That CBS projection with us playing Gonzaga and AZ is probably the best we could hope for.

Add in that they played a much softer non conference schedule than we did.

Win Friday then beat Bama on Saturday in the rematch and I think we get the 4. That's my hope anyway. Historically the 4 vs 13 is a much more favorable matchup than the 5/12.

His last season here was pretty damn strange with all the rumors flying around of locker room issues and love triangles. Something was really jacked up that year. It was a disappointing season and I was not happy that Muss decided to leave. Then I got real happy about Cal coming to town. Also glad that he decided to keep Brazile.

The Mizzou radio guys yesterday, and I have heard some of our Hog podcasters such as Curtis Wilkerson say the same, say there were completely made up false rumors about various players that year. They didn't say made up by whom. I do assume they're talking about the gay stuff with Devo and Brazile, etc.

Specifically yesterday on Mizzou radio, it came up when they were talking about former Mizzou player Brazile, and they said he had false rumors made up and spread about him at Arkansas.

I'm not convinced about Devo's predilections but it's also none of my business. One of those years Anthony Black was getting into a lot of fights with fans and opposing players sticking up for his teammates and it all kind of makes sense if gay slurs were being tossed around during the games. 

There may be some element of truth to some kind of thing happening because that team went from looking pretty good in the early season to completely having the wheels fall off.

i think the head coach becoming totally disinterested and wanting to bail had a lot more to do with it than there maybe being a gay guy on the team.

also apparently some of the boosters had tired of muss and the way he was with them.
