Great to get the win to force a rubber match, but the game was a lot closer than the score.

We really didn't hit the ball well at all, and ended up with only 2 extra base hits.

If that first error in the 5th on a textbook double play ball doesn't happen, we likely don't have the scoring rally we put up and the game is probably a 1 or 2 run game.

Hopefully our bats come around and pitching shows up big again tomorrow.

Quote from: Feral on Apr 26, 2025, 04:13 PMIt's crazy because it was packed last night.

This is the shocker.

Their fairweather bullshit fans don't care about much of anything if their team isn't highly ranked or playing for a title, which of course they always when at the slightest hint of a chance.

Show-Me Hog

I like getting back on track. Let's win the series tomorrow and start pointing the ship the right direction again.

Nice win today.  Had a great outing by Woods.  The pitching was solid.

Bats hit when it mattered.

I'm back on the wagon!!!!

Wild pitch moves Heyman up.  Runner on 3rd, 2 outs.

Crier rips a double to LF.  Run scores.  Floorduh leads 1-0.  Runner on 2nd, 2 outs.  Beetlejuice ain't exactly fooling 'em so far...all the contact has been smashed.

They're crushing his slider to the same spot. The lineout and both doubles have been down the LF line. If Iredale doesn't catch that first out they'd have 3 doubles down the line in left.

Top 2nd.

Aloy 2 doubles to CF.  Runner on 2nd, 0 out.

Fraser HBP.  Runners 1st and 2nd, 0 out.

Aloy picked off 2nd.  Runner on 1st, 1 out.

Helfrick grounds to 2nd...diving stop, high throw.  Called a single.  Runners 1st and 2nd, 1 out.

Diggs takes a mediocre fastball right down the heart for strike one, another one six inches inside for strike two on a 3-1 count, then is hit by the full count pitch.  Bases loaded, 1 out,  BEER HATS ENGAGED!

Thomas takes two balls, then...

PITCHING CHANGE:  Alex Philpott (RHP) in for Barlow.

(EDITOR'S NOTE:  Will someone point out the tradition of the beer hats to the retard in the broadcast booth please?  You could figure out the English translations for the Aloys' first names, but not something that simple?)

Thomas takes the 4-1 pitch outside for a walk and a RBI.  Fraser scores.  Tied 1-1.  Bases loaded, 1 out, BEER HATS REMAIN ENGAGED!

Passed ball brings Helfrick home!  HOGS LEAD 2-1!  Runners 2nd and 3rd, 1 out.  Please remove your beer hats at this time.

Davalan grounds to first.  Diggs scores, Thomas to 3rd.  HOGS LEAD 3-1!  Runner on 3rd, 2 outs.

Aloy the Elder walks.  Runners 1st and 3rd, 2 outs.

(EDITOR'S NOTE:  Strike zone is like Snoop Dogg on April 20th at 4:20 PM at Willie Nelson's house.)

Kozeal rips the 5-0 pitch off the wall in RCF.  Thomas and Aloy score.  HOGS LEAD 5-1!  Runner on 2nd, 2 outs.

Iredale flies out to medium CF.  3 outs.

Mid 2nd.  Hogs 5 Boot material 1.

Perish peacefully in a warm environment.

How many times have we been picked off this season?

Feral

Diggs comes up and I told my wife "this first pitch will be right down the chute and he won't swing." Then with a 3-1 count I told her "this next one will be right down Broadway and once again he'll watch it."

Now she thinks I'm a baseball Nostradamus.

Strike two wasn't a strike though.  Don't blame him for that one.

Apparently, they didn't know that all you had to do was throw it down the middle to him.
