Here is what today's Murray pitcher, Isaac Silva, has done so far in the postseason.

Gave up 8 v Belmont in their conference tourney. 7 in 4.1 v GT, 6 in 5.1 v Duke. 3 in 4.0 v Ole Miss. He has given up 5 HRs in the NCAAT.

If we can't pile up some runs on this guy, the curse is worse than any of us imagined.

I thought about the PBP for the first game. I decided against it, as we had done pretty well without it for the last few games. It seemed to be a trend and I didn't want to break it. We may be better without it, but who knows. The curse is strong....

I'll go as far as to make a bold prediction — if LSU somehow loses to UCLA tonight, we're going to come out of our side of the bracket to play for the title.

We have the pitching and bats to come out of the losers bracket if we only have to play LSU once in an elimination game. If we have to play them twice, we're likely going to face Anderson again.

Chris Lee of D1 baseball actually predicted this before the CWS began. He said we'd lose in round 1 to LSU, work our way out of the losers bracket, and win it all.
