There's a reason guys like DVH and Mike Martin have 27 combined trips to Omaha and 0 rings (and only 3 finals appearances) between them, while guys like Tim Corbin and Pat Casey each have multiple rings in 1/3rd of the CWS appearances.

Jay Johnson has been at LSU for 4 years and is about to win his second championship.  

Dave isn't one of the greatest college coaches ever.  Solid sure.  A guy that can put together a team just good enough to not win anything.
