Ole Miss is good this year. We were an improbable HR away from losing that series in Fayetteville. Wouldn't surprise me at all if they get to Omaha and do some damage.

Georgia is good too. They might be flirting with 2022 Tennessee status and flame out in the Supers, but they can mash.

Circling back to the injury bug, losing Clark was HUGE. Both at the plate and the field.

We will probably crush Northeastern, beat Kansas tomorrow night and then come out Monday and strike out 17 times and lose 2-1.

DVH burning McElvain last night was what killed us in this regional.

If he comes in in the 7th tonight, the outcome is likely different.

But we burned him in a game we ultimately won by 4 runs.

Bringing in Gibler in a jam was an odd choice as well. It was almost like he was throwing up the white flag. He said in a postgame presser a while back that batters were hitting Gibler extremely hard and they were concerned with him going forward.

Granted, the 8th inning solo homer didn't matter because we couldn't piss a drop at the plate, but still.

What's sad is pitching didn't lose the game.  The pitching was good enough. 

Once again, in the must win situation, our hitting went home early.  I'm tired of that occurring year after year.
