Leftover from the McCarthy era. Had zero faith in the Schottenheimer hire when they made it and they've shown nothing so far in camp or in the preseason that they're going to be anything other than lackluster.

For some reason I have a strange optimism about the Cowboys this year.  There is zero basis for it in reality...I just have a feeling.  I think McCarthy was that bad/that checked out over the last few years.  Maybe hearing a different retard's voice will be preferable to the older, fatter one.

As long as Dak is the QB they will never play win a meaningful game in January.  The o line should be much better, so the offense should be better.  The defense is going to be Swiss cheese. Weak at the DTs, and the secondary soft. The team has no depth because of their big contracts. Dak, Micah, and CeeDee eat about half the cap before 11's new deal if that ever happens.

Oh I know.  When I say I'm optimistic that means I don't think they'll be 6-10...maybe a fringe wild card team.

My expectations for the Cowboys are about the same as they are for Arkansas football.
