Bills wake up each morning looking for new ways to be the Arkansas of the NFL

For $7 mil I'll put a webcam in front of my shitter so I can answer fan questions while I drop the Longhorns off in College Station.

If the pass hits the lineman behind the LOS maybe he can advance but I don't think so.

I didn't see the play you are referring to so I really can't comment any further.

Allen was under duress and as he was being tackled his pass hit a lineman in the back.

I don't know why I thought that was a penalty.

I should have just asked our AI underlords.  They always know.

Begin internet explanation:

It is not a penalty if a forward pass unintentionally hits an offensive lineman (an ineligible receiver) while he is on or behind the line of scrimmage. The play is simply an incomplete pass.
A penalty is called in the following situations:

[Intentional Touching: If an ineligible lineman intentionally muffs or catches a legal forward pass (before it is touched by an opponent or an eligible offensive receiver), it is a penalty for illegal touching (a loss of five yards and a loss of down).

[Intentional Grounding: If a quarterback is under pressure in the pocket and intentionally throws the ball in the direction of an ineligible lineman to avoid a sack, it is usually penalized as intentional grounding, which results in a loss of down and a 10-yard penalty (or a safety if committed in the end zone). The pass must be in the vicinity of an eligiblereceiver for it not to be grounding.

[Lineman Downfield: If an ineligible offensive lineman goes more than one yard beyond the line of scrimmage before the pass is thrown, it is a penalty for an ineligible man downfield (a five-yard penalty).

[Tipped Ball Exception: Once a forward pass is touched by an eligible offensive receiver or any defensive player, all offensive players, including linemen, can legally catch or touch the ball.

In most cases, an offensive lineman cannot be an eligible receiver unless he reports to the referee as eligible before the play begins and lines up in an eligible position (e.g., as a tight end on the end of the line).

I thought so as well.  Looks like something a high school in south Memphis would wear.

Then I thought, new coaches often change uniforms.  I bet the 2026 Hogs roll out on something awful like this or even worse.  Count on it.

FWIW - Jackson Woodard (Arkansas, UNLV) got his first NFL roster and action last night for the Texans. Lots of special teams action.

Arkansas let him go in favor of Poot Paul. Goes to UNLV and MAC DPOY. Free Agent for Seahawks and then Practice Squad for Texans.

vegashog

good for him.

he was going to follow odom like the 3 or 4 others others did. they loved the guy. arkansas didn't let him go and no one had any idea paul was going to pull the shit he did.

The idiots made him walk on. He had the best highlights of any kid in Arkansas that year.

He had a great motor.  Played for LRCA (against PA) and was clearly the best player on the field (including the LRCA QB that went to Auburn and is now at Baylor).  Not surprising he is playing in the NFL.  What is surprising is that our coaching staff at Arkansas couldn't see it when I could.

I remember you posting about him back then. He was rangy and just needed to get bigger. Our coaching staff was too stupid to play him. He was definitely better than Hayden Henry and Bumper Pool in the videos I saw.

Jameis Winston has become my favorite player in the league. Hopefully someone gives him a spot on TV when he retires.

The Eagles in the Reggie White Jersey/Helmet combo. Cowboys in their normal Coyote Ugly uni's.

"I got fired for using free speech" yea imagine getting killed over it

It's always entertaining seeing what kind of outfit Saints fans will wear to a game for Halloween.

Oh, it's not Halloween. Just a regular Saints crowd with a guy in a yellow Mohawk next to a transvestite.

Those Eagles uni's are sweet.

Eagles beating the Cowboys like they're still the Dallas Razorbacks.

Well, now the SEC refs are helping them come back.

On another note, it's bizarre seeing another #33 carrying the ball for the Cowboys.
