What's crazy is that of the 3 QBs to win 14 games in consecutive years, Darnold's feat is probably the most impressive.

Granted, Brady and Montana had 1 fewer game in the season, but Darnold did it with 2 different teams (thus zero continuity) in what were the toughest divisions in football in those respective years (both sent 3 teams to the playoffs).

Darnold is a great example of why coaching matters.  Other than money there is no advantage to being drafted as a qb to the usual teams drafting early.  Like the jets.  These teams have shitty coaches as they're losing.  Typically poor qb developers in their OC and qb coach.  Terrible o lines meaning no time or a running game. They get beat up, picked off, labeled busts. 

The steal of the last draft looks to be the kid on the saints.
