I saw the run he had to ice it late. Also made the last interception.

Kid can play.

Quote from: Barton Fink on Sep 04, 2026, 09:00 PMChristian Reeves at NLR is worth keeping an eye on. Similar build to DMac.

Has to have around 250yds and 4 TDs. Absolutely obliterated a kid on the opening kickoff.

Was over in Arkansas working last week and listened to the Buzz and they had Bolding on. He was raving about the kid. Think he said he was 6'2 215 and just moves different than everyone else. Also said RB may not even be his best position, maybe S. Sounded like what DMac played in HS. Not comparing him to DMac other than projecting to multiple positions.

Barton Fink

The strange thing is he doesn't play defense. Only RB and special teams. The opening kickoff he hit a kid so hard the kid's helmet flew off and the kid laid there for 5 mins. I thought they were gonna have to carry that poor kid off the field. He also had one TD run where he trucked the safety.

He had a couple 70-80 yard runs that were DMac-esque. Hole opened and he boat raced everyone to the end zone. He sat most of the 4th. I was impressed.

Quote from: Too Big Pig on Aug 28, 2026, 06:23 PMI reached out to Sheridan head football coach Kevin Kelley about the stories circulating regarding one of his current players who is awaiting trial on manslaughter and other criminal charges.

Here is his statement:

"Number One: You get into teaching and coaching if you believe in kids and you want to help kids. And I think for the vast majority of people in this business, that is one of their main priorities. I believe that's what schools are here for - to help kids accomplish their goals.

Number Two: The young man in question is, I believe, innocent until proven guilty. I'm a flag guy. I'm an American. Everyone is entitled to their opinion. That's fine. But I believe in innocence until proven guilty.

After this young man enrolled at my school, I heard about an incident. I didn't know who this kid was, but I wanted to meet with his parents (after he was enrolled) to find out about the story. My thought was, 'Is there a way to help this kid?' And it came down to this: Here's this young man who is innocent until proven guilty. Because of that, he's afforded the same privileges as all the other kids. Playing football is one of those privileges.

Now, some people may say, 'You recruited him.' This is absolutely not true. Some people may say, 'You are letting him play because he is good at football.' Also not true. This is a chance for him to get help and basically get his life back on track so he can accomplish his hopes and dreams. And we might be – because of all the stuff that's spreading around – his only chance to do that. 100% with a good heart, this is why this young man is practicing and playing with our football team. Because everyone is innocent until proven guilty, we decided to give him a chance.

I am not against anyone posting or commenting their own opinions. I believe in freedom of speech. But, I will say this: I hope people consider, when they are posting comments and opinions, that this is a kid who has not had his chance to prove his innocence in court. I believe this kid was not involved with the pulling of the trigger or holding the gun, which resulted in the death of another person. It is incredibly sad that someone passed away. And to all the people that are commenting: You don't know what it's like to be on the other side of this. I feel so sorry for this young man and his family. I hope people will pause and think about that a little bit before they choose what they are going to say.

When I asked our boys after two weeks of practice, 'Guys, how's everything going?' Their response was, 'Good, Coach. We love him. This is just a normal guy who was in a bad situation.'

So, it comes back to this. Are we doing the right thing? If you believe in the court system and you believe in innocence until proven guilty, then, yes, we are doing the right thing. We don't know how this is going to work out or what's going to happen. This is the case with any kid. Our goal as a school, as well as mine personally – is to try our best to give kids a chance to accomplish any goal they set their mind to. That's who we are, and that's exactly what we're doing."

There is nothing new about kids playing football with ankle monitors on.  One of the guys I eat lunch with is a long time Texas high school official.  He says he's seen it quite a few times over the years.  Especially some of the smaller east Texas towns.
Apparently retarded member of the "fucking old people" crowd as defined by Swahili Steve.

I don't know anything but are you talking about the same kid?

NLR brought him in when Rogers was attempting a hail mary at the end and he got the int. Other than that play, he didn't play on defense.

Bryant and Warren are both 0-2 to start the year. I bet that hasn't happened in a while.

I knew that when you were posting about him in 7th grade. And I saw him in 8th grade hit the game winner for the conference title. Fucking ice in his veins and 50 yarders not out of the question.

How was the punting? Or did he not have to? 8 kickoffs is a lot.

Thanks, frien.  I remember you were there.  It will be fun to report here as much as I can about recruiting over the next two seasons.

I tell him that even if AI replaces all jobs and makes college even less useful than it is now, I don't foresee anyone ever wanting to watch a robot kick a football.

North Crowley shut out Aledo last week. If I was a college football coach, I'd send my GM and his bigass checkbook to southwest Fort Worth.

They combined for TWENTY-SEVEN points in less than a minute?
