I talked to JL Friday. He is a year younger than me but we ran around together a lot. He was very appreciative of it. He was honored (and deserving) of being honorary captain. He has done so much for the area. I loved coaching with him and love talking with him whenever he'll answer the damn phone. Great guy, need more of him.

Any idea what the official outcome of the Siloam Springs vs Rogers Heritage was ?

The lights went out 3 times in Siloam.  With 47 seconds left in the first half, Heritage got on the bus and went home.
