What were the odds of us scoring with about a minute left and them going the length of the field for a TD? I'd say better than 60%.

I put it at 80 percent

In Oxford in 2021 neither defense could piss a drop and they beat us 52-51 when our offense couldn't convert at the end (failed 2 pt conversion). I went to that one.

You live long enough you start to see the same things again and again. Even with the same coaches.

Sam Pittman is 7-18 in One score games in his time at Arkansas.  That doesn't point to a huge talent gap issue.  That is coaching and mindset.  Loser mindset. Grasping defeat from the jaws of victory.

Was watching with a big crowd, so I couldn't be my normal skeptical self. Texting with a buddy who was there when we held them to the 13 point deficit.

So we score to cut it to 6.

So, was wrong on the way we lost but right on the heartbreak. If we had scored, they would have scored on a blocked PAT. Why, because we're cursed.

You should win 95% of SEC games scoring 35 on the road. That's with Fountain's little handpicked kicker costing us 6. It's time for Sam to come watch the games on Saturday at the lake with us. He's gonna love it here.

Arch Manning will be the only player to pass for 1,000 yards in a game when we play them. He will win the Heisman because of our game. I have never seen our secondary this bad, and I have seen us have sevaral bad secondaries. I am not sure we can win even 2 more games with our schedule.

For the record, BMFP was 12-7 in one-score games so he had almost as many as the other four combined.

If you right reverse the two complete hose jobs in 2009, it would be 14-5.

We had to have known our defense was suspect. Made their backup QB look like a Heisman contender and, just for good measure, gave up a TD drive to the gimp.

It's not an Arkansas tradition.  It's the state of the program since losing losers decided to hire and be satisfied with the worst coaches in program history.  Loses whine we can't do better.  Winners don't take that excuse.
