It's a no brainer. He's still a great coach. He needs to be hired.

Agree.  I was proud of our kids.  They played like they had a fucking pulse.

Quote from: bigpig on Oct 11, 2025, 06:55 PMThis team needs four wins to reach a bowl. We have two games at home and three on the road. It was always going to be a tall task, but this is clearly not the same team that played Notre Dame, or Ole Miss for that matter.

We have 4 games left at home and 2 on the road.

So you expected this team to go on the road and beat #12 who leads the SEC in points scored per game?

If that's the best you can do, you need to get out of the troll game.

So an assistant with zero head coaching experience.  Ok.

Ridiculous take.

Most of the guys who go straight from assistant to head coaching jobs successfully either do so at a lower level school or at a football factory where winning is easier.  Rarely do you see one go to a place like Ole Miss, Arkansas, or MSU and succeed.  You don't have the margin for error to learn how to manage a program on the fly here that you would at Alabama, Georgia, Michigan, etc.
