Prime Bobby also had a QB and WRs who could read the defense after the snap and alter routes.  Give him 5 years here and I'm not sure he could fill the WR room up with guys like that again. Too hard to get ballers to stay in a system long enough.

Reminded me a lot of an Enos offense.

Barton Fink

Great coaches put you in position to win. Player's ability to execute and make plays more times than not decide the outcome. Last year we had guys running open every game. Misreads, poor blocking up front, and TOs cost us several games. Even with arguably the worst defense in FBS.

Biddy has eluded to Silverfield liking the short passing game. Especially to backs. I don't think we are going to see a lot of downfield attempts.

The rest of the passing game may definitely "allude" us as long as KJ is quarterback.

The passing version of 3 yards and a cloud of dust.

Watching Ole Miss-Louisville last night watching both QBs hit pass after pass after pass down the seams and deep sidelines, often for TDs, I started crying.

You mean you can purposely force one safety to stay deep just by sending a receiver that direction?

Theoretically, but one recurring play last night was that Ole Miss and Louisville receivers would run deep with no one going with them at all.

When I hear "Likes to throw short"....what I'm really hearing is "can't block for shit and QB may be developmentally challenged".

No, Silverware's Offensive philosophy is short throws to the RB.  Maybe it's Cramsey's, but RS seems to like it.  It just so happens that we also can't block for shit and have a QB that seems to be developmentally challenged.

My primary concern with Cramsey coming with RS was that particular offense.  It doesn't work very well in the SEC when you don't have superstars everywhere on your team, especially given the speed and athleticism of the defenses in this league.

Kind of shocked that Adam Ford hasn't released his game review yet.

Rhodes was a major disappointment. Any news on him?

Apparently he didn't start because he was "hurt" but then they let him play at some point and he recorded 0 tackles.  If he really was nursing an injury, why play him at all?  Doesn't pass the smell test.
Things of that nature

He didn't practice during the week because he was "hurt". Sounds like coach thought that was BS. There's a difference between injured or "hurt".

He really is hurt. He also had 1 tackle. His injury will be a lingering injury all season from what I was told.

He didn't scrimmage in the last scrimmage they had.
