"But I think we're set up to compete really well in the Southeastern Conference, especially now with the new revenue sharing model."." - Hunter Yurachek 9/15/25

That we gave this shitshow $40 million in contracts is straight robbery.

I don't think he's an idiot, just out of his league with no one on staff to mentor him into being a winning coach in this conference.  He shouldn't have been hired here, but that's not his fault.  Any of us would have chased the bag.
"That's embarrassing.  Looks like Josh Duggar when his parents asked him to babysit."

For $7 mil I'll put a webcam in front of my shitter so I can answer fan questions while I drop the Longhorns off in College Station.

Once authored a post that critics claimed, "Was notaslibro level."

If you can't get up for a game, or you have to be coaxed into putting in better effort like you do in practice in the SEC you need to go play for UCA or Henderson.
The same people demanding everyone embrace your beliefs, have zero tolerance and condemn another for embracing theirs.  Oh, the irony.

That's my take. Can't make him out to be someone he's not. Just not a SEC coaching staff other than Roberts.

I watched thru the 2nd qtr. My 9 yo came in and asked if we could play catch and do some tee work. I gladly obliged. He caught 2 games today and will pitch tomorrow. Much better time spent with him than watching this shit we call a football program.

This right here.

I've moved beyond Yurachek.

My ire and hatred is reserved for the dumbasses who refuse to fire him and have allowed our football program to be the worst in the conference (and the country).

Catching up in the thread. Glad I didn't watch.

He doesn't have a clue about SEC football, but my God, doesn't he at least know darks should be washed cold?

I thought about going just to see Kyle Field and knock it off the my list of stadiums to see. Glad I decided to stay home and work at the Greek Festival here in OKC. So much more fun. Come out today on Sunday. We are open till 4:00. Opa!

I watched his after the game presser. Take a drink every time time he says "unacceptable". It will numb the pain.
I need help and I know it.

Overall I had concerns about the staff from the jump...it looked like a TEMU staff. It looked like we are too cheap to hire good people or good people aren't willing to come to this dumpster fire.

When it comes time to clean house I really do think they need to consider who are the common denominators. Who's been here thru it all? I don't care if it's the water boy staff, the secretaries, whoever has been here thru it all...needs to get packing. WHY? Because it's about culture. If you have the same losers giving loser vibes and then that trickles down into every fabric of the program then you'll get losers. Now honestly I think we all realize it's not the secretary but hopefully you get my point there's going to be administrative people in place that's probably been here for most if not all of this shit and still looking for the root causes of suck and it's been them the whole time. You can't have morons be the ones in charge of hiring ,setting policy, setting budgets etc

It's pretty clear for anyone paying attention their goal has not be to win in football it's been to do well enough to keep the fans off their asses and boost basketball. NIL presented an opportunity to get basketball right but it's been at the expense of other sports clearly. We have probably the worst women's basketball program in the SEC with a fan base that loves basketball there's no excuse for that. We have a great fan base for baseball but you take away Van Horn's NIL budget...clipping him by nearly a half million dollars. What do you think is going to happen there? What happens if we win a natty in basketball this season and we're stuck with HY's hubris for another decade? Would we take that trade? I don't think the program can afford losing in football for very damn long.

"I got fired for using free speech" yea imagine getting killed over it

Chuck Barrett should be at the top of the list.

We've been outscored 122-34 against P4 opponents. A&M put up as many points last night as we did all year against P4 teams. I would not at all be shocked if we have multiple games this year where we're shut out.

Barton Fink

And it could've been a lot worse. UGA threw the ball 12 times. They could've named their score

The Whyte Boar

And it's not even talent.  I mean of course our talent isn't great but we clearly are poorly coached.  We have the talent to be better than we are, to be more competitive, to NOT BE A COMPLETE FUCKING EMBARRASSMENT!

A RS had to do this year was avoid being an embarrassment.  Compete and maybe squeak out one or two extra over last year.  He failed.  There is no reason to keep him.

I don't know what we do.  It's going to take a lot of money to purge these clowns and then get someone competent.

vegashog

it's talent also. name one guy on offense other than marshall that would be playing on another sec team? do the same on defense. we hyped the shit out of some returners but they haven't done squat just like the previous years. to be promised some fantastic figure for nil while being approached for the job, only to be told "well, that's actually for next season", after you've taken it, is some serious bullshit. heads need to roll but this coach is getting at least another year.

he needs to fire the oc tomorrow, the guy's out of his league.
