Well, with Heupel and Bert on opposing sidelines I wonder what the over/under for farts is?

My daughter and future son in law are there,  I had to work but holding it down on the couch.

I don't think Tennessee gives a shit about this bowl. Not sure if it's good or bad but that's what the playoff has created. The bowls are consolation prizes now. At least for the teams that feel they should be in the playoff.

Even with the kid channeling his best Pete Panuska we lose.
In bowl games, if we have a missed kick or PAT accompanied by a kickoff return in a touchdown we lose.  I still have the 84' Sun Bowl on VHS.

We played in one of the last meaningful 3rd place NCAA games in 1978. Beating Notre Dame on a Boot jumper from the top of the key.

The last 3rd place game was played in 1981. No one wanted it after that.

With a 12 team playoff, probably going to 16 soon, the bowls are in the same position. Consolation games that most people don't care about.

Is this new for the bowls or has it been around?

ESPN's graphic is mostly purple when TCU has the ball. It is mostly red when SC has the ball.
