So, who are we pulling for tonight? I think I am pulling for Oregon's cheerleaders, but Indiana's football team.
Well, shit...

vegashog

kinda hard to beat a good team twice in the same season. would love to see indiana win.

Quote from: Son of Spam on Jan 09, 2026, 10:33 AMIt doesn't help that they usually have 2 or 4 SEC teams play each other early and knock each other out.

Case in point - Ole Miss had to play Georgia, and Bama had to play OU.

chambliss's waiver denied. ole miss can appeal if they want.

wouldn't be surprised if he just declares for the draft.

I would after last night.

He's been worshipped in the media the last few weeks and has balled out. His stock likely won't be higher than it is now.

what a shit show the ncaa is.

soldiersooie

what would happen if Ole Miss said fuck it and rolled him out next year?  sure, their wins would be "vacated" but the ncaa is toothless and cowardly.

I thought he was portalling to LSU anyway. Who would appeal if that were the case? Ole Miss or LSU?

I thought he announced he was coming back to Ole Miss if he got the waiver approved?

Well if he said that then it must be written in stone and he would never suddenly jump ship to LSU

Who would do something like that?

rzrbkfan69

Yeah, he signed an agreement to come back to Ole Miss should his waiver clear. Wonder if he got any up front money and will be able to keep it? lol

Does the NCAA run the playoffs or is it a separate thing? If separate, I'd love to see him come back, Ole Miss make the playoffs and win the whole thing. The NCAA vacates their wins, but they claim the Championship. I'd root for that chaos.
I need help and I know it.

vegashog

pretty sure any agreement is contingent on him actually being eligible to play.

ole miss claimed that he had a medical issue while at ferris st., but ferris st. didn't have anything to give to the ncaa stating that.

Maybe he was at a volleyball game.

NGL there's gonna be times next season where most of us wish he was still on our sidelines.

Good thing, those times are going to be far outnumbered by us thanking Jobu that we have an actual defense again.

You don't need a football game to pull it for the Oregon cheerleaders.

I'd like to see Indiana win but I think Oregon will.

Hard to beat someone twice in a season. I think Indiana does it anyway.
