I just read an article from "The Athletic".  I'm sure I' late to the party, but I had no idea that Ben Herbert was Michigan's S&C coach, and also an Associate Head Coach.  Harbaugh calls him "the best hire I've ever made".

S&C coaches are typically an easy head to roll as evidence by last season's firing of whoever the fuck that was here and replaced by some guy that looks like a Planet Fitness night manager. Ben Herbert was very highly respected when he was hired to Arkansas and schools were lining up to hire him upon his exit.

I've wondered the same. Bama hasn't looked good all year. I thought after they beat Georgia that they'd finally figured it out. I was wrong. Michigan exposed Bama's O Line and Milroe's decision making. I wish we could've seen Georgia vs Michigan.

Georgia hadn't lost a game in almost 3 years, was #1 in the country (I think), and was getting ready to play an Alabama team that had struggled on offense all year and just needed a miracle to beat Auburn.  With the talent on Bama's roster, no matter how good or bad they'd played to that point, it was still a perfect trap game for Georgia.  I'm still surprised that Kirby let them come out flat. 

Georgia would have boofoo'd Michigan.  Michigan's offense was only able to keep up because Bama's offense was shit.

maybe Georgia wasn't as good as we thought they were this season. Who'd they beat that  honestly proved to be worth a damn? Missouri was their best win.

I definitely don't think Georgia was as good as the last two or three years, but the same could probably be said of just about every team in college football. How many teams in hindsight have an impressive resume based on who they've beat? There really weren't many good teams to beat. Washington and Michigan are probably the best, but Michigans two best wins are against Bama and OSU. Neither looked all that great. Probably comparable to Mizzou. The quality of college football everywhere was down. I think that's another casualty of the transfer portal.
