I figure he's going to hailed as the man that salvaged A&M's decision to hire Jimbo Fisher. Other than the one guy A&M's receivers are smallish quick guys that may get bumped off their routes against SEC coverage. I didn't really notice a tight end and that's been a hallmark of A&M for a while. The runningbacks were good but not necessarily elite. The o line is likely improved from last season but not super duper good by any means.

I didn't notice them flipping their O line from side to side so they are not REALLY running the Bobby P offense.

One has to think if they have a good offensive year, Petrino is going to get ALL the credit. Someone will hire him away.

Also, it will be interesting to see how Jimbo's ego handles Petrino getting all the praise. That has to drive him nuts.

they looked better, but i wish nothing but pain on the entire a&m program and if that has to include petrino, then so be it.

acc votes to invite stanford, cal, and smu for all sports starting next season.

smu will not receive any tv money for seven years, while cal and stanford will get 30% of the split, although it doesn't say for how long.

It's being floated by Finebaum an others that the ACC taking on 3 weak sisters is a precursor to FSU, Clemson, and North Carolina (or some such) moving out of the league and probably to the SEC. I don't see Carolina breaking away from Duke personally.
