Football is the straw that stirs the drink.  We're doing very, very good in basketball.  Do that well in football, and this place is nuts again. 

I don't trust anyone associated with the program right now to spend money wisely.  If I send someone to the store with money to buy a week's worth of groceries and they come back with cand corn and cheetos, I'm not giving them money to go to the store again.

Imagine a restaurant being like "We sold shitty food for 15 years but it's the customers fault for not tipping more so we could afford better silverware."

If "student players" get a pass for chasing a bag because it's "just business", then don't be surprised if the fans do the same and make "business decisions" with their money.

The fact that the university is stuck in this weird spot between being a state school and being a professional sports franchise isn't the fans' fault.
