I like(d) Traylor but I think he had a bad season last season and that probably put him out of the running. Doesn't really matter now RS is the moron that's gonna be coach for probably at least 2 seasons. Next season when they have a bigger NIL budget and they still suck they'll officially be no wiggle room. If by chance he's learned from his mistakes over the course of this season and manages to come back next season more competitive then he'll get a 3rd season. I think the magic number for next season is gonna be 6 wins or he's gone and it really should be 8 wins but lets be realistic here in staying back to back 2-10 seasons...a 6-6 season gonna look like the Liberty bowl.

I think somebody somewhere has to convince HY to "step down" likely with the obligatory golden parachute. That needs to happen before basketball season.

My Avs and Caps are off to a roaring start this season.  The Wild are almost to mid-season form, unfortunately Faber is probably out for the season... but Hughes is such a beauty.  So I'm enjoying the season thus far.  Feels good to win, boys.

Avs had a bit of a sloppy night against Calgary, but still killed them (Calgary is kinda like a Vandy right now), probably because they had a hard night against the Jets in the first night of their back to back (was a great game, though).  Caps added some scorers to their roster in the offseason and Tuch seems to be a natural fit.  Ovi is still Ovi, but age and wear and tear are really showing on him.  Dude's a legend, but glad they got some more scorers to spell him.  He can't handle so many shifts any more.

L'Heureux nearly had a Gordy Howe hat trick... and was pretty pissed he didn't manage it with that opportunity to score in the last few minutes.  That's what caring looks like.  Maybe the Hogs should have these guys come to the locker room and teach them what give a fuck is.

However, I have a better idea.  Instead of going to football games, go support the Ice Hogs.  Tix are cheap... pack out the Jones Center at all home games, get some more resources into that program, and enjoy the Hogs generally dominating other SEC teams.

Guys like Pittman, RS, Coach O, Miles, etc. always struggled with game/clock management. I'd think that has a lot to do with not having experience as a coordinator.
