You're the face of the program. And the program is the brand, the product. Money. Thus you and the brand need to be as reasonably ubiquitous much as possible.

Have some GA kid manage it like Saban probably does. But it absolutely matters for recruiting and national exposure.

It comes with the territory that coaches and players, right or wrong, have always been scrutinized and criticized. Especially the head coach. Especially at a SEC school with multi million salaries and revenue.
