I saw a blurb analysis of the rest of Auburn's schedule.

According to whatever network this was, Auburn has a 46% chance of a W against Arkansas.

Flip that and add 10 or 20.

It's pretty clear some of y'all don't watch anything but Arkansas football.

Auburn has been about as bad as we are...worse at times. They have zero point zero quarterback play.   

I'm not saying I'll rush out and bet on the Hogs to win or cover, but that percentage is probably pretty accurate.  It's about as close to a 50/50 game as you can get.

Because if there is one thing we know for certain it's that scores against common opponents is a surefire method of comparison. 

Statements like what you made are why fans shouldn't bet on or against their own team.  We overrate our team when things are going well, and underrate them when things are going poorly.  I'm as guilty of it as you are...just trying to keep some objectivity in this instance.  There isn't a good team remaining on our schedule...none of them are slam dunk losses (or wins as the MSU and BYU games taught us).

Missouri is the closest thing to a good team that we have left. 

Your son should go ahead and prepare for the worst.  Georgia is rounding into form at the perfect time to break Missouri fans' hearts.  In spite of their record, the Tigers are a hell of a lot closer to Arkansas than Georgia in terms of talent, coaching, etc.

I generally agree with all of this except that I think Mizzou is actually good. I really hate to say that because their coach has a very punchable face. I don't think there's any way we score enough to hang with them, unfortunately.

They have gotten the most out of their talent so far, and have won their close games (LSU being the exception).

Georgia is rounding into form at the perfect time to break Missouri fans' hearts.

Georgia did to Kentucky earlier this year what they did to us a couple of years ago. Demonstrated the pecking order to an "upstart", with extreme prejudice.

I expect them to do the same against Mizzou this weekend.

I haven't really watched a game since the Jefferson dive from the 3 at Texas A&m. Just parts. I make sure to not even watch parts now or keep up with them at all. I just don't enjoy it any more.

Edited to add: The rest of the year... Guiton is going to look like the next coming of Bobby P and we win the rest of our games and get to a bowl. Saving Sam's job. He's going to leave for a better job leaving us to hire Lunney or the equivalent and go winless in conference next year.

Thorne was marginally better against the Mississippi State juggernaut defense, but Freeze still likes to give Ashford just enough of the tip to keep them from a true rhythm. 

Of course, they will surely have no problem deciphering the signals of our dumbed down playbook under Guiton.

It could be another 7-3 game. In any event, it's likely to be one score and we know how that goes.

Mizzou almost beat them last year which sets up for something like 49-3 on Saturday.

I didn't see it on this page at least but Auburn was tied with U(sic)GA at the start of the 4th qtr this year.

That was likely U(sic)GA screwing around but I don't envision us ever staying with U(sic)GA more than about 10 minutes.
