They should have his induction ceremony in Iowa, just in case

For $7 mil I'll put a webcam in front of my shitter so I can answer fan questions while I drop the Longhorns off in College Station.

The cardinals have pulled me back in this year. They're playing good ball. No stars really other than Arenado, I guess, but they're scrappy and play hard. Had a nice 10 game win streak or so but broke it at Philly but still won that series on the road. Have won the series at KC too tonight. Definitely didn't expect this. Been a few years since I've watched much as they've been uninspiring. Not sure if the subtraction of Goldy had anything to do with it but they're scrappy and seem to have a completely different attitude. Guess winning changes that but theyre on a good run.

Minnesota also riding a 12 or 13 game win streak without much star power. Detroit is still somehow leading the AL central and has the best record in baseball with a similarly built team with little to no stars.

I'm sure it will flip at some point but kinda cool to see the lower payroll teams making some noise.

If the Cards keep it up I may have to figure out a streaming option.  I haven't watched but a couple games that were nationally televised (or however I figured out how to watch those couple).

Fan Duel app. 20 bucks a month, no commitment. Gets the griz, braves, cinci baseball from what I can tell. Only time it's been blacked out was when it was on Apple TV. Has only been one series from what I've seen. I've subscribed to plenty of things for 10-20$ a month and never watched them for months, so it's worth it for me. Not much else after college baseball until football starts.

me too

Here's an article I read today about their rising young players.  Of course, every team has a list like that but it seems like a long good list and several of them are producing already.  Herrera might really be something.

and it is just the beginning of the season. You should see all the gimmicks to get people to the stadium and nobody watches the game. They keep improving the rooftop for a more party atmosphere
Yep. I'm not trying to be a dick about it. It could have lived. It didn't. Not by my choice. -Elvis

Cheaper than improving the team for a more party atmosphere.
Oak Grove in the house.

I watched Skubal shut down my surging Cardinals the other day. He's the real deal. Their #2 pitcher is a stud too. Detroit is loaded this year.
I really don't care, Margaret.

He pitched well, but wouldn't say he shut them down in that game as he gave up 3 earned runs. He's really good though and was in charge most of that game.

Pumpkin Escobar

The Jac Caglianone experience starts in KC. He absolutely crushed AA and AAA.

Thin Red Swine

Unbelievable, but Rich Hill is still pitching at 45, back with the Yankees for a second stint.

He has played for 13 teams.

Meanwhile, Ohtahni back on the mound tonight for the first time since TJ a couple years ago.

Wow. Thanks for posting that. I admittedly haven't been following as closely because they've frustrated the hell out of me. I knew the surface stuff about Devers but very little of the rest.

Just a big pissing contest.

Just saw he's also batting lead off. Pretty cool.

Yeah I was t sure if the rules allowed you to pinch hit after pitching with DH, but it can go the opposite way too I guess if a position player moves to pitcher in a blowout.
