I agree. I saw a tweet, I think from one of the media members but I can't remember who, saying that it's no secret that he has been shopping, but with some of the other comments in that thread I kind of interpreted it as Muss trying to get a new contract from Hunter for more money. Oats and SC's coach both just recently signed a big extension and maybe Muss is wanting some of that reassurance from the AD. And money, of course.

I hope this is bad info, or a joke. Asking for a contract extension/money/reassurance off an underachieving losing season should be met with laughter or side-eye. It's certainly the kind of thing that makes a fan say, I'm out.

I wanted Sampson as well. He's a helluva coach. If I remember right, he wants his kid to succeed him when he retires and many have a problem with that.

I'm not going to be a prisoner of the moment here. Muss has delivered an elite 8 and two other trips to the 16 and no other coach we've had since Nolan sniffed that level of success. One bad season is difficult to swallow but I know the competitor Muss is...this shit is not sitting well. So I'm going to pretend this is all going to get fixed for now.

Player development. We have none. Pinion and Devo are the only multiyear players we have.

Neither has gotten better. It's easy to argue both are worse than when they were in high school.

I'm not sure exactly what muss' overall strategy is, but making better basketball players isn't a part of that.

Teaching chemistry isn't either.

This isn't the NBA where you only have X's and O's to coach into polished developed players that are mature grown men.

I was a big believer in muss. Last year made me question him more than I'd like to admit.

This year has pushed me to the dark side. I hope he moves on because I am convinced by his own hand that muss can't get it done here. He's been good at capturing lightning in a bottle now and then and that's is about all he's convinced me of.

We all saw it this year and he gets an F.  He failed.  Period.

The past is the past.  I appreciate what he's done here.  But he was not a good coach here this year and it's concerning for sure whether he even believes he can turn it around.

This is me.  I don't support anymore. 

I take free tickets when they come to me and I watch mostly but I don't plan around them like I used to. 

I would rather go to the lanes and hear that sweet sound of my big ball rolling like thunder smashing those white pins.  It's a lot of fun watching my wife's butt too.

Losing Clay and Gus off the staff hurt, not sure the replacements are or have been equal.
The roster they built this season was a failure and that is coming off 3 straight sweet 16s, a down year I get but a losing season?

The coaching x and os this year was Pel level stuff - keep doing the same stuff over and over and hoping it will suddenly work.
