Shitty sports reporters butt hurt because no one is talking to them, so they speculate worse case scenarios. Fan base isn't great but the AR sports media is pathetic.

It was mainly a bunch of Bryce Drew fans trying to convince themselves he's a good coach.

You'll get a little bit of that when it was clear to everyone he phoned it in about 10 games into the season plus lost control of the team plus let guy back on the team after quitting for the 2nd time. These narratives aren't pulled out of thin air...they happened. Sure give him a pass but that shit won't fly for long. 

Also I think Muss fell into the trap that most all Razorback coaches fall into when they have success. They get to thinking they are bullet proof and let off the gas. His edge was using the portal before the portal really blew up. Once it did his value significantly fell. The greats evolve with the game. I'm not sure Muss is that guy though but yes I'm willing to give him that opportunity and I believe he's earned a season or two. I am deeply concerned how the season was handled when it was clear we weren't competitive.
