I believe the record has been broken

Bunch was his name.

That would be my youngest grandson, he is on the 2/3 grade team.

#86
Elkins with another close one over Berryville, 62-7.

PF 317
PA 50

They are winning by an average of 53-8.  Not bad, Elkins, not bad.

The schedule is for sure back-loaded with Ozark, Gentry and Lincoln all at the end and with winning records all.

They'll go 10-0 but it's not set up bracket-wise for them this year like it did last year.

Quote from: Guardrail on Sep 29, 2023, 04:21 PMSo Pine Bluff is in the same classification as Beebe?
Wow. Enrollment has fallen quite a bit down there

Pine Bluff and Texarkana move back to 6A in 2024.

I hope Pine Bluff brings those nice fans with them.

I was a little doubtful with Ozark, Gentry and someone else, all with solid records at the tail end but they beat Ozark on the road 38-0 and are drilling Gentry 54-0 in the third.  They might be pretty fucking good, at least until they run into some of those teams with more 'speed'...

Hard to believe if you just look at the scores but Elkins coach will not run the score up on another team. So even though the scores have been lopsided, they could have been much worse. Most games the starters were through at halftime. Lack of playing a full game concerns me when playoffs and better teams are played, but you can only play the schedule

Yeah, these games are over by halftime, like WAY over and the clock just runs in the second half.  They could easily score 100 on some of these teams if the clock worked like it used to way back in the day and he wanted to run it up.  Huntsville could have been 100+ easy

Meanwhile, YOUR Conway Wampus Cats are 9-0 and have outscored opponents 435-97.

It looks like Warren has had a few good recruiting classes and is strong again. Bo Hembry literally goes to the regional peewee games and starts recruiting them then. If you meet them, I hope Elkins or somebody beats them.

Maybe I'm out of the loop and don't understand how today's HS football works, but how do you recruit HS football players? Do you get them to move to your town or to the part of town that ensures they go to a certain HS? Is that legal?
I need help and I know it.

It is if you're buddies with AAA. A lot of cases they move in or at least close enough to use school choice(I guess if they provide transportation, it doesn't matter where they live). I was serious about him scouting them in peewee.

PA's loss to Greenwood at home was their first home loss since 2013.

PA will move up to 7A next season as they have made the playoffs this year.
Going to be tough to compete week in and week out with 400-450 students in grades 9-12 going against some schools with 1800-2000.  It will be interesting to see.
Oak Grove in the house.
