You can do a lot worse than Dak but I also think there is something to be said for the young Russell Wilson plan of hitting on a underrated guy (wait that sounded weird) well you know what I mean. Same thing San Fran has done with this Purdy feller only it didn't work out for them because Mahomie got them.

Purdy did just fine in the Super Bowl.  A missed extra point and crazy botched punt cost them the game.  Purdy cost $893k this year.  Dak will cost around $60m and the loss to 7 seed packers he bore a big part of.  Dak is simply a loser. 

Jerry will extend him, likely 5 years $300 million.  The highest paid player in history.  For a qb that can't win a big game.

I'd make him play out his contract in 24 for $59 mil, then figure it out.  Draft a low round QB. I think Trey Lance is another loser to run off.

Baker Mayfield stays with Bucs for 3 years / $100m/$50 mill guaranteed.  Thats a killer deal for Bucs and Baker.  I would take Baker over Dak at that price.

Brandon Allen signed a 1 year deal with the 49ners. I think the word is he'll be the backup next season and the other guy is going to go find a possible starting gig.

That's too much money for a part time player.  However, I don't necessarily think it's a bad fit personell wise as he will split time with Tyjae Spears, who is a stud, but also is not an every down back in my opinion.

Huh?  Mayfield is playing for $33 mil a year on a $50 mil guarantee.  Dak is $60 mil on his old contract.  He want a 5 yr $300 mil contract with a $240 guarantee.  I would rather have baker than Dak or cousins as I can buy a lot of talent for the extra $30 mil.  If you're going to have an average qb get the cheap one.
