He has a bad habit of throwing off his back foot which makes it look like his arm is weaker than it actually is. If you look at his Oregon highlights, he's placing the ball well, all over the field, not just on screens. He definitely doesn't have an elite arm, but arm strength won't be the reason if he doesn't cut it as a starter.

He makes quick decisions, has a quick release, is a good scrambler and doesn't take many sacks. I'd still rather have Nix than McCarthy, I don't see what people like about him. I like that we picked his favorite target in Troy Franklin in the 4th round, I thought he was 2nd round talent.

can you blame them? I am worried about this same thing here... there's talk they'll eventually move our stadium further east because the developers wanna throw up fancy apartments and make mile high stadium and the amusement park across all into one huge development of apartments and a plaza 🙄. The current stadium is fine I don't wanna foot the bill for something else...the owner can do that shit

Same thing with the Chiefs possibly moving across the river into Kansas. Arrowhead is by today's standards an old stadium no doubt but has held up very well. You start giving people luxury seats and shit and it loses it's atmosphere of what made it special to begin with.

I fear KC will eventually go with one of those domes and it's going to lose it's luster. We might as well be the fucking Vikings at that point. The trade off would be hosting multiple sports and major events...something it can't do or wouldn't get the opportunity.

they can't build a new stadium in the metro without going out east from what I've seen. No way I'm driving out almost to the airport for a fucjing game. The thing that makes going now so great is it's literally just a few blocks from my home. I don't wanna drink and have to drive all the way back from bumble fuck for a game

I do think part of the issue with the stadium stuff in KC is the sales tax vote which was defeated tied the Chiefs and Royals together as one. The Royals didn't decide on a stadium site until like a month before the vote after being so wishy-washy and non-committal during this process while constantly sucking ass on the field didn't help and the fact that people still enjoy kaufman and don't buy the whole it needs replaced argument especially when the chiefs say they would stay at arrowhead.

Kansas will do everything they can to entice the Chiefs to move but notice they are not trying to land the Royals.

Yes it's been a minute for me to be in either stadium but I think I can say with full confidence that either stadium experience is pretty damn good to this day. I wouldn't trade Arrowhead for anywhere though I do understand the modern realities of competing for more events to book in these stadiums.

Sherman, the Royals owner, said he wouldn't move the team when he bought it, the royals have been a 101 to grad level class on dumbassery. Then add to the fact that the Jackson county executive is one Frank White, yes that one who is a member of the Royals Hall of Fame who also worked on the construction crew that built Kaufman Stadium, wants a commitment from the teams long term before extending the sales tax.

If the Chiefs can't get deal done with Jackson County, I'm sure Kansas would be happy to get them a new stadium out there in western Wyandotte County, near the NASCAR track. I think if the Royals can't get a downtown stadium, they will build one just across the river in North Kansas City.

The only positive about a new stadium would be it would be a dome and I won't have to sit outside in 20 degree temps for a game here. Half the games this year were also misting or raining and cold. Nobody wants to sit in that shit

I figure if/when KC rebuilds or remods they'll have a retractable roof...that was in the original plans for Arrowhead but was deemed too expensive at the time. Arrowhead's design was way ahead of it's time from what I understand...certainly just garden variety by today's standards.

Is the one in Denver still "Mile High" under some other name? I imagine so. Denver has hosted final fours and shit before...not sure if they've done that lately but there's plenty of reasons for these NFL teams to build domes especially. Puts you in better position to host the Superbowl, high end bowl games, and possibly NCAA tournament games. Also obviously the entertainment industry hosting concerts but they gonna book those sites anyway most of the time.
