Saleh has been really down on his situation.  Some of the comments from the media who did pregame interviews indicated he made some odd comments.

One line is that saleh was going to whack Rodgers BFF idiot OC Nathaniel Hackett today as the jets issues are all on offense.  Last 3 games the defense has given up 36 points.  How firing saleh helps the offense is comical.  Also it sounds like he and Rodgers had a huge argument after the game. 

I think Rodgers got to Idiot owner Woody Johnson and got saleh fired.  Makes zero sense.

1. The Jets?  The most passionate fan base in the NFL?  Most Steelers road games are actually "home" crowds.  Same for a few other teams.  I am not aware of having ever met a Jets fan.

He's got a terrible W/L record of 20-36. I do believe he's a good coach that will probably get another shot as a HC but will probably have to do a tour as a DC somewhere for a few years.

Nothing the JETS ever try seems to work. There's just some funky taboo shit going on with that organization. Also if we're being honest this Hacket dude has to be the dumbest motherfucker to ever be a head coach or OC in the league and that is saying something. If Aaron wants him it's because the guy is a YES man. The Sean Payton's of the world would've never put up with his shit.

Mike is going nowhere.  Unless the season is a meltdown Mike will get a new contract.  Just like Jerry did Garrett, twice.  Jerry will argue with anyone that says he fired Garrett.  He just didn't give him a new contract.,

If you are going to pay out the ass for players why would you pay out the ass for players that have repeatedly shown they won't/can't win the big game? That would be my issue with the Cowboys. Certainly there are a number of teams that would love to have Dak or whoever else is on that roster. Dak and these guys might eventually accidentally win some playoff games but I don't ever see Dak getting a ring.

There's something to be said about buying championships in football being pretty damn hard to do. Brady's Tampa Bay SB run is perhaps the lone example I can think of. Perhaps you could make a case for the Rams run with Stafford. The other ways teams win championships is blind fucking luck getting the right players at the right time.

For every excellently run football franchise like the 49ners building thru the draft, getting lucky on a QB etc etc....There is someone else like KC that also got lucky drafting Mahomes and oops he's a once a generation talent. That one player makes a ton of difference just like Brady made a ton of difference. Dak is not one of those guys so why pay him like it? In Dak's own division there is a rookie QB that will likely over take every one else in the division and probably will ascend to a TOP 5 QB in the league if he isn't already (Daniels) so in Washington's case they've been bad for so long they were bound to get "lucky" at some point. The Cowboys are never bad enough to get that lucky and too stupid to know how to buy a ring.

I have greater optimism that Arkansas will win a national championship in football than I do of Dallas ever winning another Super Bowl while Jerry is alive.  I only watch Cowboys games if it's ultra convenient now, when in the past I've planned family events around them. 

You know it ain't as hard as everyone makes it out to be at Arkansas.  This is the kind of year in the SEC that if we were a fraction better, we would be right in the thick of the playoff and championship chatter.

Regular season win-loss records are essentially meaningless in the NFL.  Especially when you consider that every year there are 2-3 inexplicable losses to horrible teams that prevent the team from hosting playoff games if not the entire postseason pre-Super Bowl.  The last few years the Cowboys have had enough talent to compete with anyone, and they've repeatedly shit down both legs under pressure.  That ultimately has to fall on leadership, or the lack of.

The Cowboys could finish the regular season 15-2 with home field throughout and I'd still go in expecting a first round exit.
