Not earth shaking news, but Mason Crosby, Green Bay's all time kicker, was signed by the Giants.

Crosby was let go this year by GB, didn't stick with the Rams, and was unemployed until now.  The Giants have three, count em three, kickers on IR and needed one.

Betting he does a good job.  He kicked in the worst conditions available in the NFL, and did a great job for 15 years.  Thinking he still has a bit left.

He's going to be in a new stadium that is also notorious for treacherous wind and weather. 

Maybe that's why they wanted him.

The NFL has allowed offensive tackles to start their pass-blocking back-step move a half a second early all year long without a flag for a false start. It's a thing now. But it's getting ridiculous. Philly just had a tackle stretch it to 3/4's of a second early and still no call.

Is this a real thing? Would explain what I saw yesterday. Was watching my first nfl game in about two years and every other play I was thinking "well that's gotta be a false start." Couldn't figure why they weren't calling it. Told myself they must be so good in the pros compared to the college kids that it only looks like they're moving before the snap to my untrained eye.

Chiefs paying the price for their many distractions plus added problem of being targeted by the refs for Mahomes and Reid saying stupid shit.

Not that it is that big a story, but it looks like the Giants have FOUR, count em four, kickers injured.

Mason Crosby, late of the Packers and Rams and recently acquired by the Giants, who said he'd been staying in shape, hurt his quad in practice.  Anybody remember, or even imagine, a team with 4 hurt place kickers?

We miss Beienemy and his attention to detail which has been lacking all year, Nagy is awful. Reid and Beienemy are both better together.

That said, Mahomes has not been good this year, which was bound to happen as everything's come so easy until this year. He is missing open guys and making some shitty throws.

Repeating is hard and improve or die.

Really wonder if we'll ever see a run like Bellichek and Brady had together, which as time goes on gets more remarkable.
