That said, Mahomes has not been good this year, which was bound to happen as everything's come so easy until this year. He is missing open guys and making some shitty throws.

The Chiefs' receivers have been getting all the blame, but Mahomes has quietly been hot trash all year.

He's holding the ball too long, not seeing the field well at all, missing short throws, and continuously sacrificing middle downs for the deep shot. He's also turned into a whiny, sulking douchebag. Shades of Jay Cutler.

I can't disagree that Patrick has been trash this season but I do think it's a combination of things.

They clearly lack elite talent at WR. They barely have NFL talent
