Stokes may be better than anyone in this class but you're right, it's not as deep. He seems to be a bit of a head case though.

This claas is ridiculously deep. As great as Acuff is, he may not be a lottery pick. You have teams like VT, Washington, and Stanford with freshmen that are round 1 talent. It's a generational year.

He was expected to be this good. There's a bunch of them. Caleb Wilson is an animal for UNC. He was very highly ranked and we wanted him but he was supposedly raw offensively. Doesn't look like it now. I'm glad he didn't end up at Kentucky.

As good as Acuff is and has completely lived up to the hype, I'm pleasantly surprised by Thomas. I knew he was good but he's way better than I expected this early.

Is Ament doing shit for TN? I only watched them once and he didn't stand out much.

I've listened to some podcasts about the 2026 class and it sounds like most of them will be in school at least 2 years. I'm hoping we can pull Jordan Smith Jr. but Dook seems to be the favorite. Everyone says he's a winner and an absolute bulldog defensively but will probably be in school for 4 years like Wagner due to his size. That's a good NIL investment.

I like Smith but he's not a great shooter. Gotta put shooters around him. Duke seems to be the leader but Cal was at his game last week.

I think our two commits with be multi year players as well.

It's going to be interesting to see who returns next year.

Thanks for the input. I knew his shooting was suspect and he's only 6'2" so he's not playing SG in the league. Sounds like a leader though and someone who would be a great college player for a few years. This is blasphemy but he seems like a Corey Beck type.

I would love to see him and JJ playing defense together. You're absolutely right  that we would need a couple of snipers around them though.

Can someone explain to me the Vandy hype? They have played a decent schedule but have yet to play a ranked team. Lunardi has them as a 3 seed and the AQ from the SEC after Bama's blowout loss to Arizona. I'm biased but I'm not sure anyone in the conference looks better than us right now, and we're more battle tested than Vandy but maybe not as much as Auburn or Alabama.

They haven't played anyone but have win handily. Think they're averaging close to 100 pts per game. I believe they play a couple decent teams on the road this week.

Tenn's defense has looked really good tonight.  It helps Louisville can't hit the broad side of a barn (6/28 21% from 3pt).

Definitely didn't help them.  They shot Memphis State to death on Saturday so we had to guard the 3 point line . We finally pressed our offense the second half and got some baskets before they go their defense set up.  They did a good job first half forcing us into jump shots we didn't like.  Only scored 11 points last 10 minutes of first half.
Jalen Carey has been a great pick up. He carried us inside tonight. Glad to get off the 3 game slide.
