No idea. I don't follow WBB that closely.

Put that 100k we're gonna pay a head coach toward a player coach and let it do what it do.
"I got fired for using free speech" yea imagine getting killed over it

Neighbors made $700k. If you're ranked in the top 30 out of HS or a Top 20 Transfer, you get $70k. First 10 to commit get the money. Let Cal's GAs coach them to get experience. Probably better than what we've had. .

I am not a women's basketball fan, but saw this today and thought I would share.

Kellie Harper has been hired as the new women's basketball coach at Missouri, where the former coach of SEC-rival Tennessee will have the job of rebuilding a once-proud program that has not been to the NCAA Tournament in six years.

Harper grew up in Sparta, Tennessee, and played under Pat Summitt with the Volunteers, helping them to win three consecutive national championships. She began her coaching career in the SEC as an assistant at Auburn in 2000, and was the head coach for Western Carolina, NC State and Missouri State before replacing Holly Warlick at her alma mater in 2019.

Harper led the Vols to the NCAA Tournament each of the four seasons it was held, including back-to-back Sweet 16 trips in 2022 and '23. She was fired after last season, when Tennessee went 20-13 and made the second round of the NCAA tourney.

That's who I was thinking about above. She would've been a good hire here.

With Harper to Missouri and miller not the front runner, this search is tanking fast.

Yep.  I was wanting Harper here, but Miller was a good back-up. Now that Harper is gone and Miller is busy with some sort of women's basketball championship tournament or whatever, this search flotilla is sinking fast.

miller isn't going to announce shit while her team is in the post season, jesus.

Correct. But it's been stated that she was not the front-runner.  By that statement, I was hoping Harper was the front-runnner.

So who is the front-runner?  Who's being mentioned?  Nobody.

Bring Jimmy Dykes back.  If nothing else he won't be the color guy on any of the men's games.

Swahili, is that you?

Cal didn't happen till the Sunday before the Championship game. Remember because I was scarfing down a burger at Deluca's when the mews hit Twitter.

This idea has merit.
