Kjerstad is finally back in the lineup today vs. the Yankees. Now that he has sat for a week and lost all of the momentum/timing he had. I'm not bitter though.

Heston was named the #47 of the  top 50 MLB prospects after 2 months by the Athletic the other day.

The Orioles don't seem willing to give Kjerstad, the second pick in the 2020 draft, an extended look in the majors, which is odd given how little production they're getting from their outfield corners. He's among the Triple-A leaders in homers and over 30 percent of the balls he's hit in play at the level have been at 100 mph or greater. He's ready to help someone, even if his defense turns out to be below average.

I have a good friend who is a huge Orioles fan.  She told me one of his other at bats was 14 pitches.  Kept fouling it off.  That's a good sign.

Kind of funny though because in his first two at bats he saw a total of 2 pitches. His hits were both on the first pitch.

They interviewed him before the game. He seemed more at ease than he did last time when he was called up and they would interview him. Hopefully he gets more chances than he did last time and he keeps producing like he did last night.

Silent J is 2-2 with a HR and 3 rbi and scored 2 runs 👍

I really think if they will give him a few weeks in the lineup he'll do great. You have to have regular reps to hit well.
