Thanks, Rick. I'll hang up and listen.

Big deal.

They still aren't on our level.

Show-Me Hog

College hitters can't seem to handle lefties who throw in the mid-80s and have a disappearing pitch that dives downward.

I hope DVH is watching this (and I am sure he is).  Hitting matters.

When exactly should he have been encouraged to retire?

After 2021, when we were the best team in America all year, had the Golden Spikes winner, and lost a close game three in our super?

Or after 2022, when we made it to Omaha the hard way and were a pitchers duel close loss away from the championship round?

Maybe last year after an SEC title when we got waxed in the home regional? If you're going to do it maybe that was the time,  but shouldn't every coach with that resume get a mulligan once in a while?

Keep in mind that throughout that time we have accumulated the best recruiting classes in program history (at least by ranking).

I think you're a little bit of a prisoner of the moment here.  It sucks balls to lose a home regional, even more so when you do it to shitty teams by failing to hit crap pitching.  And maybe we would have been a little better off it Dave had hung it up and we had replaced him with Vitello.  But something else to consider is that had we encouraged DVH to leave before he was ready there's a better than average chance that Vitello and many others would have told us to stick that job up our asses due to the lack of respect we showed.

Great recruiter, there's no argument there. But the rest of his game is not very good anymore, and hasn't been for a while. I've done this a half dozen times over the last few years on Woopig, and don't really care to rehash it all again. You think he's great, I don't.

Apologies to everyone for the thread drift.

For about the third time you fucking retarded woman, all anyone said was that we are not a step down from A&M or Tennessee.  That is an indisputable fact that not even Tony V or Schlossnagle would argue against.

All you know how to do is bitch and moan.

I'll bet your husband drowns his sorrows in cheap whiskey every night to keep from swallowing a bullet.  Or maybe he's Boondoggle.

Negativity loses its credibility if you never acknowledge anything positive and you use idiotic hyperbolic statements to justify your constant menstrual cramp provoked bitchfests.

Thanks, but it still doesn't answer my question and that's fine if you choose not to.  When would you have moved on if it was your call?

I'm not even saying you're wrong.  We may be on the downslope.  But how could you have justified the decision (to the board, chancellor, boosters, etc.) to ease him out after any of the last seven seasons?

For $7 mil I'll put a webcam in front of my shitter so I can answer fan questions while I drop the Longhorns off in College Station.

Aggie going in dry, in a weird change of events.

Is this really the case?

Just because someone isn't ready to retire, doesn't mean he shouldn't or asked to.

How are you going to give better coaches or up and comers a chance to make the school better, if someone passed their prime isn't asked to retire.

So tired of the, "If we fire so and so, who can we get," or, "No one will come if fire so and so."

The dildo of consequence, rarely arrives lubed.

Tennessee losing would really be the last good sports news of the year.

After looking at the last 5 seasons some have concluded DVH is past his prime and we can do better.

This is why we can never have nice things.

I'm on board.  Fire him or ask him to retire.  Either way I like it.

Let's see how it works out.

Well if we play like this again tomorrow it will definitely happen.  Offense has sputtered tonight.

Boom.  That one may have iced this game.  Imagine the bottom (phrasing, in this case) of the order going this hard.

This petty ump has been working all night to avoid Aggy's ball 5 chant.

And at the same time, A&M winning is never good news.
