The only bad thing is that we are going to have a super matchup that should be taking place in Omaha, while there will be another one pairing fucking Duke and Murray State.

Agreed, path gets much easier after the super regional though IF we can take the first game from LSU, we'll be sitting pretty.  Reminds me of that year we lost in the semis with Conner Noland.  You just knew whoever one that game would win the NC.

I don't know that I would classify last night as a big game.   Root threw great.  Let's see consistency and see it against Tennessee.

He also might be a guy who thrives on early run support. We aren't all that famous for that this year.

Yeah, it was nice to finally score first yesterday. We usually have to come from down a few runs.
Well, shit...

UGA keeps hitting HRs and flipping their bats at the OK ST dugout and it is getting heated.

The bat flips should get a fastball in the ribs and since the batters wear a set of Armour at the plate, why not ?
Check your damn blood pressure!

Okie Lite must've gotten fed up. Now tied 7-7.

And not just by a little bit.

They have 7, or about double the number of holding calls against Alabama every football season.

Two times zero is zero.

Smoke and mirrors Northeastern is staying alive. They've given up 13 hits and the leadoff for State has been on in 6 innings but it's still 3-2.

Top of the 9th coming up. It almost feels like destiny they will snatch this one at this point.

Man, the Fighting Uterii can't even fill their stadium up for and elimination game for the #2 seed. Weak crowd.
Well, shit...

Thin Red Swine

Or maybe Northeastern would lose in heartbreaking fashion by getting thrown out at second on a delayed steal to end it.

They had the grit, just not enough talent at this level.

Mike Glavine (Tom's brother) is a great coach.
