They were very likely miserable in Lexington for a while now. I think he's genuinely happy to be coming here for a fresh start but maybe I'm drunk on Kool Aid.

Yeah, the Lexington community mostly turned on them some time ago.  I hear there were billboards calling for him to be fired and gofundme accounts set up to help collect for his buyout, etc.

This is nothing like the Altman hire. Cal has heard the hog call in person for over two decades.

Altman's daughter had a meltdown and didn't want to come to Arkansas. She wanted to stay and graduate high school with her friends. It was a family mess.

Altman even alluded to it when he took the Oregon job. Someone in the media asked what would be different with Oregon and the Arkansas job and he said his kids were grown.

The biggest name in college basketball filed for divorce before they could. It might've been what UK wanted, but you know it bruised their ego. 

Candidates might want to think twice before accepting THAT job. Like Kalen DeBoer at Alabama, the heat will be on from day one. There will be no grace period.
