Was Hunter in a motorcycle accident?

Quote from: BleedinRed on Apr 10, 2024, 07:03 PMHunter is already setting the stage to blame the fans when NIL doesn't get funded at the level Cal needs to win.
i didn't see it that way.

think he was saying don't sit back and count on tyson to fund this thing by himself year after year.

I really like Cal.  This is the first time I've listened to him at length.  He is definitely is a smooth talked.

Bob has to have a mental disability right??

Borenutz

How does Bob keep getting the mic? Geez, cut him off. You can tell Hunter is cringing every time he asks a question.

I am not watching the Q&A from the likes of Bob Holt.  Too frustrating.

The other part was really good though.

About the 6th time he's told his KY players and recruits they can come on over

Haven't heard that name in a while. Only thing I remember is him sinking a half court shot at the buzzer going into halftime against someone. '95-ish maybe?

That was Reggie Garrett. Merritt was a walk-on on the 94 team.

Merritt was (and may still be) refereeing HS ball in NEA, probably ref'ing other levels too.  Talked to him for a minute. Seemed like a great guy

That was essentially a 1.5 hour commercial for Arkansas sports programs. In the past I couldn't stand him, but it's easy to see why he can recruit. I'm in 100%

The whole thing was embarrassing on our part.

Calipari acted like he should be running the entire university.  It's hard to envision Hunter Yurachek being his boss.  He upstaged him big time.

Hunter is clunky, Pittman is a yokel, DVH is class though. But a marked difference in anything we've had here ever as far as class and style.

I hope Calipari doesn't run off in the middle of the night because he can't handle the stupidity.  He doesn't belong here and it shows.  He's way too classy.

I started listening to Calipari press conferences 2 or 3 years ago, in relationship to Arkansas games. He grew on me and then I started listening to more of his press conferences during the last 2 years. So I was an early adopter of liking the guy.

Tyson fired a bunch of illegals in a plant closure somewhere so we can cut down some nets. Now we're playing cutthroat.

1995 Super Bowl Sunday against Rick Pitino's Kentucky Wildcats. #3 vs. #5 in the polls. I forget who was ranked what. Freezing rain covered NW Arkansas on the drive up that morning. Garrett hit a half court shot at the halftime buzzer that flipped the net up over the rim. It was glorious to see.

A friend of mine had season tickets and we went to several games the first couple of years at BWA. Always different people sitting in our section at every game. That game was full of blue haired guys and their old wives. So you knew who owned the tickets.
I'm sorry Elvis......for all of it.

Disagree strongly.  Thought it was well done.  But then I don't see the dark side of everything like you do.

Strangely enough I think we were #9 vs. #5 UK which is crazy considering how good we were. Those teams were stacked. Probably the best game in BWA.
The Lord wants you to put your foot on their balls and believe in it. 'Cuz that's what wins football games. Not jumping offsides like a bunch of wimps and faggots. I don't care what those pinkos over in Russia say. You want to be a loser? You go live in Russia. I'm a winner. I'm an American.
