I think we all saw things this past season to damage our confidence that Muss can actually fucking coach. How many times is the guy going to get butt fucked by a zone defense before he figures that shit out? Weird transition...Otherwise I'd say Smart is not in his class but is a solid dude. Fresno would probably be a good spot for him.

There is basically very little in recruiting news which seems a bit odd. Muss hasn't publicly denied interest in USC to my knowledge. This feels like we're waiting tell the final four which is where a lot of these deals are made. It's like a coaching convention. So anyway news on that front could come soon.

I think the type of coach we want hasn't changed. We want an ambitious and talented charismatic guy. Otherwise we should hire another Mike Anderson or a Darrell Walker and just be happy if/when we make some noise now and then. That's not what people want though.

These buyouts like 6 million for Tang really shouldn't be a big deal for a program raking in the money that it's doing. We are depending a great deal on private donors for this shit apparently though and it seems like there isn't much willingness. Makes me wonder where all the tv revenue money goes?

Out talented Oklahoma at every roster position. Lost by 20+ on a neutral court that was 2/3 hog fans in attendance.

Gave up something like 56 points in the paint that game, never switched from man to a zone and forced them to beat us shooting from outside.

Muss strength as an on court coach is his ability to scheme defensively and take the other teams best players out of the game or limiting them to a below average night. We didn't do that this year and the offense was still average to below average like it has been every year under Muss.

Getting buttfucked by zone defenses is just what one does when they are coach of the Arkansas Razorbacks.  I don't remember the last time we looked like we knew what to do.  We just had to rely on someone like Notae deciding to do things on his own.
