There can be no doubt that Beard is eyeing a better gig than Ole Miss. I think Arkansas checks off that box for him. Wait a year and it could be a much different story...could be why HY didn't get all excited when Muss was chasing another gig. 

The Kentucky gig will be open within a year or two one has to think. That's going to go to Oats, Beard, or maybe a younger guy like Golden. UCLA had a stinker this season too so another year of that and Cronin will be sent packing and they'll be a major player for a coach. There are other programs that are a bit stale like Nova, Virginia. Michigan State will open whenever Izzo is done which will probably happen soon enough. 

This is a good year to shop for a coach...next season I could see it being much different. Can anyone even name the Syracuse coach? I can't.
