It's been a long time since I turned on morning sports radio on the drive in.

All 6 channels on XM were full time Arkansas/Cal.

Obviously, time will tell if this pans out.  Immediately, though, this is a great 'get' for the program.  Beard and what's-his-face at Kansas State look bush league, IMO.  So does Muss, fucking midget-ass pussy bitch.  Went to Southern Cal b/c he's 'from there?'  Pfft.  We all know it's b/c pickle-kissing players are the norm out there.  Probably wants to play tummy sticks with Jim Rome.

Calipari took this job because he believes he can take it all the way to the top.  The worry with Cal is of course his age, but he still looks high energy.  Coming to a school that can win at a high level, but that doesn't want to slit your throat after every year you don't make the Final Four, is going to be the type of fresh start for a final ride that a guy like him wants.

There's no question that this is a "home run hire."  There's not a bigger name that could have been snagged by the Hogs.  In terms of immediate news and impact, this is bigger than when Kermit reeled in Bobby Motherfucking Petrino.

As fans, I think that we should be over the moon.  I apologize for any negative things I said or thought about HY for this or the shit with Pittman the last year.  Whether it's Tyson money or Jerry Jones or whoever, it doesn't matter.  Yurachek is the AD and he got it done for the program and the fans.

Kentucky is not going to hire away the coaches at UNC, Duke, Kansas, etc.  They won't be hiring Nate Oats.  The level of vitriol that you can get immediately at Kentucky is the type that even top coaches don't want to bother with. But who cares?  That's Kentucky's problem now.  If they're not able to snag Donovan from Chicago, there will be bed-shitting and frothing there on day one for whoever else they get.
