Travis Ford and Mark Pope are getting early play, no idea why. They should hire Pel. lol

Have to think Barnhart (AD) has had a list - depends on the money they can raise - we've set the bar for NIL and that will rankle them which is good. It's a hard job and an insane fan base - hell some are calling for the return of slick rick.

I would imagine they take a swing at Scott Drew and make him say no.

We play at Rupp next year, that would be one road trip more than worth making.

we also go to Maui again in 2027, that is one trip that I would encourage everyone to make and with Cal as our coach that will be one of hell of time. Don't get the UA booster package get the all tournament one so you get tickets to all games and sit behind the goal.

If he would have hired someone like Beard then sure he gets the credit. John Tyson's friendship with Cal and the fact that he is putting up a majority of the 5 million in NIL promised kind of points to Tyson being behind this does it not?

Part of an AD's job is booster relationship management.  HY didn't do great when he went to them to get money to let Sam go (if that happened), but this time he gets them to pony up for the basketball hire.

On Friday, I bought tickets to the baseball series in Lexington. May 3-5 is going to be FUN regardless of how the baseball team performs. I can't wait.

Billy Donovan hasn't coached in college in a loooooong time. Going nack to college is fsrvless appealing mow with NIL and the transfer portal. I know I wouldn't do it.

His last 3 league finishes were still 2nd, 3rd, and 2nd.

I've seen a few MA era players tweet their excitement  about this (Harris, Macon, and Hannahs). I always got the impression they really disliked Cal and Kentucky when they played them.
