Cardiac Hog

I don't think we'll see Wood for a while, don't know what he did to upset DVH but looked like he'll be in the doghouse.

It looked as if Wood was shaking off some of the calls and/or not throwing what was called.

After the second HBP of the 9th, Hudson White looked pissed at him, as if he didn't throw what was called.

Judging by DVH ripping his ass, I wouldn't be surprised if Wood did it again on the leadoff double in the 10th.

Someone will have to handle PBP today.
Well, shit...

I'm not going to be available either.  Maybe I can take over in the later innings if whoever starts it needs a break.
Perish peacefully in a warm environment.

Diggs up to leadoff, Helfrick catching, and Souza back in the lineup.

Diggs up for the good guys. Yet another one where the SECN+ camera guy can't find the ball off the bat. Flies out to RF. 1 out.

Stovall up next. Strikes out looking. 2 outs.

Sandlot up next. Fouls one off the Bama catcher's mask the day after he had to leave the game after taking one to the throat. Strikes out.

0-0 mid 1st.

We look bad swinging at that slow curve or watching it over the plate.
Well, shit...

Agreed. He's hit extremely well and flashed some leather.

How do Bama's uniforms get so dirty when they haven't made any plays diving in the dirt? And we ain't running this pitcher swinging at first pitches.
Well, shit...

I think it's time to explore other options in CF.

Wilmsmeyer ain't it at the plate. This year's Parker Rowland.

I say give Edmunson a shot there.

He has speed and a nice glove, but no stick. The same could be said for Diggs right now. But, I think Diggs will start hitting soon. Wilmsmeyer, not so much.

Yeah, we've seen Diggs hit against SEC competition and come up big in clutch situations. He's just in a textbook slump.

Wilmsmeyer is all glove and no bat. Plus he has the occasional derp in the field when unnecessarily swan diving and thus costing an extra base.
