Here's a little pro tip for everyone. Once they intentionally price everyone out after selling all of the season tickets to corporations, buy the cheapest single game ticket available on stubhub for the game you want to go to, and then go sit wherever the hell you want in what will be a half empty lower section. Fuck season tickets and fuck Yurachek.

It's gonna be a real bad look for Cal to go into Rupp and get his pants pulled down. I feel bad for the players but don't really feel anything about this coach and his has-been list of assistants. It still feels like we have Kentucky's old coach and Kentucky's players that couldn't play at Kentucky. This entire season is gonna go down like a fish out of water...well it already has. The organ transplant has been rejected and the body is dying. No amount of Chicken nuggets can wash it away.

none of them. They have talent ( I guess) they just don't care. They know they need to spend a year getting paid, laid, and eating like kings before they move on to the league.
If they don't get drafted they'll stay for more getting paid and laid, or go to another school and do the same. They don't care about the school, the jersey, my fat old self hoping they'll shoot better tonight.
NIL has ruined college sports. For me anyway.

I've had the same thoughts.  Instead of just shooting the ball, players are concentrating too much on mechanics.  A lot like a golfer with a dozen swing thoughts going through his head.  And yes, generally golf lessons that actually change something significant in your swing make you a lot worse before you get better.  Some guys have ruined their careers changing their swings to get "better".  They never got it back.

In my opinion, that sort of thing needs to be worked on in the offseason and then turned off and forgotten about during the season.  At least in college where there aren't 80 games and six months of season.

The NOAH system does not change your mechanics. It just tells you the arch of your shot, measures left/right of the rim, and measures the depth of the shot. If you have a certain degree of arch. hit center of the rim, and center depth, it considers it to be the "perfect" shot. That's it.

From there it just keeps accumulated stats.

Cal said earlier this year he doesn't mess with kid's mechanics during the season. He mentioned he had told Nelly to just shoot with a little more arch but didn't tell him to change any mechanics.

It is a wonder sports survived thousnds of years without all the technology.  Amazing really.  

Today's game is clearly so much better thanks to the creation and use of sports biomechanics, ball tracking systems, hawk-eye tech, wearable tech and of course AI.

It's kind of eye opening to go back and watch some highlights of the Sutton years.  Rarely do you see those teams shooting outside of 12-15 feet.  Our best teams in those days usually had one designated zone buster...Marvin Delph was really the only one who was a fairly complete player. 

I'm on the fence as to whether I like the three point shot.  It adds a level of excitement, but teams that shoot nothing but layups/dunks or threes can be painful to watch when the shots aren't falling.

I agree it's overkill. Who gives a shit how accurate you make a shot. Only thing that matters is if you made it. Arch is the only that does matter but not as much as you would think.

What I hate about today's game is the lack of good passers. If I asked who is the best passer in the NBA is, most everyone would say Jokic. If I asked who is the best passing PG in today's game, you probably don't know.

I miss guys like Nash, Kidd, JWill, Strickland, Magic, etc. To me, a great pass is the most exciting play in basketball. It's a lost art now.

Same for the Jazz.  Stockton was a pretty damn good point guard who could pass and shoot.

Delph might have the scoring record at Arkansas if there had been a 3 point line.

Raising the basket to 11 feet and moving the 3 point line out is the only thing that will help. Size and physical ability has made the game boring.
